What is the Envisia classifier?

A genomic test that helps diagnose interstitial lung disease subtype

The Envisia classifier is a genomic test that aids your physician in differentiating between idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) and other interstitial lung diseases (ILD), without having to do a surgical lung biopsy.

Envisia detects a genomic pattern of usual insterstitial pneumonia (UIP), which enables your physician to more confidently diagnose and treat your condition.

Envisia is currently available at select US institutions.

Please note that the ILD experts in each practice will conduct a clinical evaluation which may or may not involve use of the Envisia classifier. It will be up to the clinical judgement of the physician to determine the appropriate diagnostic workup.
